Tha Genius os from San Antonio, TX. He started rapping about six years ago, originally part of a group called "Triple Threat" formed by Tha Genius and two of his friends from school. Shortly after, he started up a new group "Decoys" with another friend, followed by a 3 year recording hiatus due to personal issues. Along with fellow rapper SkinnyMan, Tha Genius recently released a collaborative mixtape in September '09 which was fairly successful throughout San Antonio. Currently, Tha Genius has been traveling throughout the country, performing for small crowds and parties where he finds them, as well as working on a demo/full length LP.
